A 21-year-old Wapato, Washington woman was killed in a car accident after she lost control of her Ford Crown Victoria and crashed into a concrete barrier on the U.S. Highway 97. According to a news report in the Yakima Herald, the woman’s car struck the end of a concrete barrier that divides the opposing lanes between the intersections in that area, Washington State Patrol troopers said.
