After the information has been released that a defect in all Lenovo ThinkCentre desktop computers could pose serious overheating and fire hazards to consumers, Lenovo has decided to issue a voluntary recall. The company has stated that an error with the recalled computer’s internal component in the power supply that is essential to the computer’s system, could eventually lead to a fire.

The U.S. Consumer Safety Commission has revealed that ThinkCentre M70z and M90z desktop computers should be refrained from being used until the problem is fixed.

According to the news, the recalled models come with a flat-panel monitor and have been sold across the country between May 2010 and January 2012.

The company has received several reports of fire associated with this product. No injury reports have surfaced.

As a Seattle injury lawyer, I’m glad that nobody was injured through the use of this recalled consumer product. I encourage you to return this computer to the place of purchase immediately so the firm can give you a fully functioning power supply as a replacement for free.

Do not delay since this product could pose a serious risk to you and your loved ones.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has revealed that the manufacturer Motor Coach Industries, Inc., according to several news sources, is recalling certain Motor Coaches. The vehicles being recalled are the 2012 D4504 Motor Coaches that were equipped with a faulty sedan style entrance door.

The federal agency has revealed that because the system responsible for the door’s mechanism could close unexpectedly after the vehicle has been turned off for about 30 minutes and the park brake is set, passengers and drivers could be running the risk of being injured as a result of this issue.

MCI has claimed they will be contacting all owners of these recalled vehicles promptly so the issue can be fixed at an authorized dealer.

As an Seattle injury lawyer, I’m glad the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the manufacturer were able to address this problem in a timely manner and before any accidents were reported. I sincerely hope all affected vehicles will be fixed quickly.

If you’re ever involved in an incident that was caused by the negligence of a third party, you may want to ask a personal injury lawyer in your area for a quick and free assessment of your case.

In a news statement, the Ford Motor Company, in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), announced that it has made a voluntary safety recall of its F-150 model of 2011 as well as F-250/350/450/550 models of 2012. … Continue reading →

In a news statement, the Ford Motor Company, in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), announced that it has made a voluntary safety recall of its F-150 model of 2011 as well as F-250/350/450/550 models of 2012. The problem being addressed by the company is a correction in the theft protection system as well as the transmission. The crux of the problem is the potential risk of the transmission getting shifted out of the park position even when the brake pedal is not depressed by the driver. This problem is caused by a brake shift interlock switch problem. Ford will notify the owners and get the problem part replaced free of charge. The safety recall was scheduled to be initiated on or about December 19,2011.

As a Bellevue car accident lawyer, I feel it’s imperative to pay attention to the news from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in order to make useful information more readily available and, hopefully, prevent avoidable accidents and injuries. If you’ve suffered an injury in a crash that you think was the direct result of a faulty or defective auto part, call an experienced car accident lawyer in your city to learn more about your legal rights as they pertain to the situation.

In a press statement, Nissan North America Inc, in cooperation with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), announced it has recalled certain model year 2010 -2011 Sentra vehicles equipped with MR 20 engines. These were manufactured from May 11,2011 to May 22, 2010 and July 8, 2011 to Oct 25, 2010. The recall was due to the zinc coating thickness being more than specification. This defect could result in reduced voltage which could cause difficulty in starting the engine and potentially damage the engine control module. The number of vehicles recalled were 33,803. The company will notify the owners of these vehicles and dealers will replace the positive battery terminal and cover free of charge.

As a Renton car accident attorney, I’ve seen this kind of auto safety recall many times in the past and I understand the severity of the injuries that can result through the use of such defective products.
